#2104 Legacy Marine L55 Fly

 

This luxury production power boat was designed by LOMOcean for New Zealand’s Legacy Marine and is intended for series production in robust, recyclable welded aluminium.

 

Intended as a comfortable family cruiser with game fish capability, the L55 fly is arranged with an aft deck complete with live bait tank, tuna tubes and room for a game chair, as well as an al fresco dining and lounging area.

 

The roomy saloon, with galley, lounge and dining, is complemented by a second lounge on the flybridge level, arranged forward of the helm station.

 

A separate outdoor deck lies immediately aft of the helm, offering more seating and sunning room.  The three cabin layout offers a master double with ensuite bathroom, plus a guest double and a twinshare, which share a bathroom.

 

Big topsides windows admit lots of light and offer great views out.  As with all LOMOcean designed, Legacy built mono-hulls, the chines are fully immersed, removing annoying chine slap for a quiet night’s sleep.

Powered by twin MAN 1000hp V8 diesels and propellers on conventional shafts for a sprint speed of more than 30 knots, the L55 Fly uses the same well proven hull form used by other Legacy mono-hulls, promising a fuel efficient, soft and sea kindly ride.
